Processing

We see recycling as the beginning of a new polymerization process, and possess a keen awareness of the pitfalls caused by the neglectful mixing of non-congruent plastic types, differing colors and non-plastics (namely glass, metals, non-recyclable waste and wood) into feed-stock. Working with reputable material recovery facilities (MRFS) and other collectors whom we thoroughly vet, we procure unsullied, soil free scrap; we regard scrap as a raw material. This originates from curbside bins, not landfills.

Following our thorough SOP, astute operators hand sort this raw material by type and color to ensure purity. We bale it and send it to processors, where it will become the foundation for closed-loop recycling. It is through this process that we avow the conviction that post-consumer waste is a vital raw material, a crucial input for plastic end-products.
